Role Summary
Moravia Education is hiring an Account Executive, New Business, West Coast to drive revenue across new accounts and eligible existing accounts.
This role owns the full sales cycle, from prospecting through close, including discovery, product alignment, proposals, purchasing process, and internal handoff.
The Account Executive sells across the Moravia Education portfolio, including Wonder Workshop, Primo Toys, HP Robots, Curiscope, Piximakey, and additional assigned product lines.
This role does not own software renewals. This role also does not own hardware expansion or upsell for designated white glove renewal customers. Customer Success manages those accounts.

Wonder Workshop, Dash
Hands-on robotics and coding for elementary learners, with strong fit across K-5 classrooms, STEM labs, media centers, and after-school programs.
Make Wonder
Curriculum, coding content, teacher tools, and classroom resources supporting computer science instruction and implementation with Wonder Workshop products.
Primo Toys, Cubetto
Screen-free coding for early learners, with strong fit for PreK, kindergarten, early elementary, libraries, and early childhood STEM programs.
HP Robots, Otto
Build-and-code robotics for upper elementary and middle school STEM, makerspaces, robotics clubs, and project-based learning programs.
Curiscope
Augmented reality science and anatomy learning tools for upper elementary and middle school science classrooms.
Piximakey
Stop-motion animation and storytelling tools for elementary classrooms, media arts, project-based learning, and creative communication.

The role includes current and future Moravia Education products assigned to the West Coast territory, including partner products, bundles, seasonal campaigns, and cross-sell opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development
Build and manage a weekly outbound plan across schools, districts, libraries, after-school programs, and education partners.
Prospect through email, phone, events, referrals, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Qualify inbound leads and move strong-fit opportunities into discovery.
Build targeted account lists based on territory priorities, product fit, funding timing, and customer need.
Full-Cycle Sales
Lead discovery with district leaders, school leaders, STEM coordinators, instructional technology teams, library media specialists, and educators.
Match Moravia Education products to instructional goals, grade bands, budgets, and implementation needs.
Run product conversations, demos, and solution walkthroughs across the portfolio.
Create quotes and proposals for hardware, software, bundles, and multi-year subscription options.
Manage the purchasing process through approval, purchase order, signature, and closed order.
Existing Account Growth
Identify expansion opportunities in existing accounts not tagged as white glove renewal customers.
Partner with Customer Success to understand account history, implementation status, and customer goals.
Close eligible add-on purchases and cross-sell opportunities across the Moravia Education portfolio.
Coordinate clean handoffs after close.
Sales Tools and Operating Expectations
Use the CRM consistently to manage accounts, contacts, opportunities, next steps, close dates, product interest, and forecast status.
Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research decision makers, build target lists, identify buying committees, and support relevant outreach.
Use approved AI tools for account research, call preparation, email personalization, objection handling, proposal support, and follow-up summaries.
Review all AI-generated content for accuracy before sharing with customers.
Use email and sequencing tools to run structured outbound campaigns by segment, product interest, territory priority, and event follow-up.
Use approved collateral, product messaging, pricing resources, case studies, and proposal templates.
Forecasting and Reporting
Maintain accurate CRM data for active opportunities.
Provide weekly updates on pipeline created, meetings booked, opportunities advanced, proposals sent, bookings closed, and forecasted revenue.
Flag risks, blockers, and accounts needing internal support.
Share field feedback with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Operations.

Learn Moravia Education product lines, pricing, sales process, customer segments, and order flow.
Build a West Coast territory plan and target account list.
Begin outbound outreach and book qualified meetings.

Build consistent qualified pipeline.

Close initial orders with clean internal handoffs.

Consistent revenue growth from new business and eligible existing accounts.

Required Experience
2+ years in a quota-carrying sales role or equivalent bookings responsibility.
Experience prospecting and closing deals end to end.
Strong discovery skills and comfort speaking with education leaders or similar stakeholders.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Strong CRM discipline, follow-up habits, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
K-12 education sales experience.
Experience selling hardware, software, or subscription products.
Familiarity with school purchasing processes, purchase orders, budget cycles, and grant-funded buying.
Experience selling a multi-product portfolio.
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-assisted sales tools, email sequencing tools, and CRM reporting.
